Vegan Chopped Cheese

- 1-2 cups soy-free Plant Boss all-purpose plant crumbles
- 1 onion, thinly sliced-
- 1/2 bell pepper, thinly sliced
- 4 slices Stockeld Dreamery slice cheese
- 4 hoagie rolls or hero bread
- 1/2 pack of Sazon Goya seasoning
- 1/4 teaspoon Goya powder
- 1/4 teaspoon burger seasoning
- Olive oil
- 1 teaspoon hot sauce
- 1-2 tablespoons ketchup
- Mayo (for spreading on bread)
- Lettuce and tomatoes (for topping)
- 1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add thinly sliced onions and bell peppers. Sauté until softened and caramelized, about 5-7 minutes.
- 2. In a separate pot, bring 2 cups of water to a boil. Add Sazon Goya seasoning, Goya powder, and burger seasoning to the boiling water.
- 3. Pour the boiling seasoned water over the soy-free Plant Boss all-purpose plant crumbles in a bowl to hydrate the meat. Let it sit for a few minutes until fully hydrated.
- 4. Transfer the hydrated plant crumbles to the skillet with the sautéed onions and peppers. Mix well.
- 5. Season the mixture with ketchup, hot sauce, black pepper, paprika, and the remaining half pack of Sazon Goya seasoning. Stir until evenly combined and heated through.
- 6. While the mixture is heating, spread mayo on one side of each hoagie roll or hero bread. Place lettuce and tomato slices on the other side of the bread.
- 7. Once the plant-based meat mixture is fully cooked and seasoned to your liking, divide it into four portions. Place one portion on each prepared hoagie roll or hero bread.
- 8. Top each portion with a slice of Stockeld Dreamery slice cheese.
- 9. Close the sandwiches and press them gently to melt the cheese slightly.
- 10. Serve the vegan chopped cheese sandwiches hot and enjoy the deliciousness!
