Toast with spread, grilled pepper + pistachios

  • A slice of good bread (we use levain)
  • Creamy Spread
  • 1 red pepper
  • Olive oil
  • A handful of pistachios
  • Cilantro/basil (optional)

  • Put on the oven on 225ºC/437ºF
  • Slice the pepper into slices and put them on a plate and drizzle some olive oil and salt and pepper on the slices.
  • Put in the oven for about 15-20 mins (promise the wait will be worth it!).
  • Meanwhile, peel and chop the nuts.
  • Toast or fry a slice of bread in some oil for extra crisp.
  • Assemble the toast by put a good layer of Creamy Spread, place the freshly done peppers, and lastly sprinkle some chopped pistachios and cilantro or basil on top!
